Acquisitions Assistant II (PR273/07-08)

The Library now seeks an energetic, self-motivated individual for the position of Acquisitions Assistant II.  The appointee is expected to perform general acquisitions procedures for library materials, and provide other general support including counter duties to library users.  Shift duties in evenings / weekends / public holidays are required.

Applicants should at least hold a recognized Higher Diploma/Associate Degree with preferably one to two years of related experience, or a recognized Bachelor Degree.  He/She should possess good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluent in Putonghua is desirable), basic mathematical and accounting skills for acquisitions process.  Ability to work well in team work and fast-paced environment, and demonstrated experience with computer and IT skills are highly desirable.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
