Research Assistant - Hong Kong


Macquarie Capital Advisers Information Services is a global team, reporting to the Associate Director in Melbourne.

The Research Assistant will provide support in running all aspects of the Hong Kong Information Service, reporting to the Executive (Research) based in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • - Assisting with Research enquiries via email and telephone
  • - Assisting with the journal and magazine subscription coordination in Asia
  • - General Administrative support
  • - Other ad hoc tasks and projects


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • - Appropriate tertiary qualification
  • - Two years experience in an information service role, preferably in the finance sector
  • - Prior research experience using online business databases
  • - Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications

Other Attributes:

  • - Must be comfortable working in an open plan, team environment
  • - Must be self directed, methodical and task focused
  • - Strong organisational, interpersonal and communications skills
  • - Ability to juggle a varied and occasionally pressured workload
  • - Ability to speak and understand Cantonese and Mandarin
