HKLA Trip to Taipei (7 to 10 June 2001) Last June, the Association organized a short trip to visit 4
major libraries in Taiwan, namely, the National Central Library, the Libraries
of Academia Sinica, the Library of National Taiwan University, and the Library
of the National Palace Museum. We were impressed by the hospitality of library
colleagues in Taiwan and grateful for their kind arrangements. Apart from these
very useful library visits, we also enjoyed a lot of good food and experienced
the vibrant city life of Taipei. All members had a wonderful time. We have
invited several group members to recapture the library visits and to share their
experience with us. We sincerely hope that you would be one of us in our next
