The International Seminar on Cooperative Cataloguing & Authority Control
The International Seminar on Cooperative Cataloguing & Authority Control
was held at the Wang Gungwu Lecture Theatre, University of Hong Kong on 7th
November, 2003.
This special international event was initiated by Lingnan University Library
and co-organized by the Hong Kong Library Association and the Lingnan University
Library. It was kindly sponsored by the University of Hong Kong Libraries,
the Hong Kong Library Association and the Austrian Consulate General.
It was indeed very fortunate that many internationally acclaimed guest speakers,
representing various academic and national libraries, gathered at this seminar
to present the latest projects and current collections of their libraries.

This seminar received overwhelming responses and had attracted more than
150 attendees from both local and overseas libraries as well as other information
centers of various sizes and nature. They included the Hong Kong German
Swiss International School Library and the University of British Columbia
Library in Canada.
